ACT, Charity Exhibition by Kopi Keliling

Di bulan Agustus Kopi Keliling akan mengadakan sebuah acara baru yang bernama “ACT”. Berbeda dengan format acara-acara Kopling sebelumnya, “ACT” adalah sebuah acara pameran amal pertama dari Kopi Keliling yang akanmelibatkan sebanyak 100 seniman muda yang ingin berbuat sosial melalui karyanya. Saat artikel ini diterbitkan, telah tercatat sebanyak 60+ seniman muda yang terlibat dalam acara “ACT”. Didukung penuh oleh 1-15 Coffee (baca: one fifteenth), acara “ACT” akan diadakan pada hari Sabtu, tanggal 4 Agustus 2012 di 1-15 Coffee tentunya, di jalan Gandaria 1 no. 63. Acara akan dimulai dari jam 18:30 wib hingga selesai. Tapi kalau mau sekalian nunggu jam buka puasa, boleh juga lho dateng duluan ke 1-15, buka bareng dengan tim Kopling.

Akan ada apa aja di acara “ACT”? Format acara tetap dalam bentuk pameran, lengkap dengan atribut pemeriah suasana seperti gambar bareng, acoustic performance, ngobrol-ngobrol, dan lainnya. Naah, yang beda nih dari acara pameran mana pun dari yang pernah diadain di muka bumi ini (ini berlebihan sih, Kopling belum sempat ngecheck juga di luar udah ada apa belum), di “ACT” memungkinkan pengunjungnya untuk membawa pulang karya yang dipamerkan!! Ya kan? Seru banget kan? Caranya gimana? Begini caranya:

Kamu tinggal membeli tiket acara “ACT” seharga 150,000 rupiah dengan pesan via email keact.kopikeliling@gmail.com. Jangan lupa subject emailnya: “Pemesanan tiket ACT” biar mempermudah Kopling bedain email-email yang masuk. Lalu Kopling akan mengirimkan email konfirmasi kembali ke kamu.

Hanya akan tersedia 100 tiket saja untuk bisa membawa pulang hasil karya super keren dari seniman muda yang berpartisipasi dalam “ACT”. Jadi, mending kamu buruan pesen sekarang biar enggak kehabisan. Selain bisa membawa hasil karya, dari pembelian tiket tersebut kamu akan mendapatkan minuman kopi nikmat dan snacks yang dipersiapkan sepenuh hati oleh segenap crew dari 1-15 Coffee.

Tapi yang bener-bener jadi hal terpenting sih, dengan ikut partisipasi dalam acara “ACT” kamu ikut membantu adik-adik kita yang kurang mampu, karena dari hasil penjualan tiket acara, sebagian besar akan Kopling sumbangkan ke yayasan-yayasan sosial yang sudah Kopling pilih sebelumnya. Namun karena Kopi Keliling adalah sebuah art movement, bentuk sumbangan akan dalam bentuk buku, alat gambar, pernak-pernik kreatif lainnya. Kalau kamu mau ikutan nanti pas Kopling ngunjungin ke yayasan-yayasan tersebut sambil berkreasi bareng juga boleh banget! Tinggal ‘colek’ Kopling aja via email atau twitter.

Tempat pamerannya sudah siap, seniman muda berbakat dengan karya ciamiknya sudah banyak, persiapan acara“ACT” juga sudah berjalan supaya kita semua bisa kumpul bareng. The domestic cat (Felis catus or Felis silvestris catus, previously Felis domesticus) is a small, usually furry, domesticated, carnivorous mammal. It is often called the housecat when kept as an indoor pet, or simply the cat when there is no need to distinguish it from other felids and felines. Cats are valued by humans for companionship and ability to hunt vermin and household pests. They are primarily nocturnal.

Cats are similar in anatomy to the other felids, with strong, flexible bodies, quick reflexes, sharp retractable claws, and teeth adapted to killing small prey. As crepuscular predators, cats use their acute hearing and ability to see in near darkness to locate prey. Not only can cats hear sounds too faint for human ears, they can also hear sounds higher in frequency than humans can perceive. The usual prey of cats (particularly rodents such as mice) make high frequency noises, so being able to pinpoint these faint high-pitched sounds gave cats' ancestors an evolutionary advantage. Cats also have a much better sense of smell than humans.

Darth Vader (born Anakin Skywalker) is the central character of the Star Wars saga, appearing as one of the main antagonists of the original trilogy and as the main protagonist of the prequel trilogy.

The character was created by George Lucas and numerous actors have portrayed him. His appearances span all six Star Wars films, and he is an important character in the expanded universe of television series, video games, novels, literature and comic books. The films establish that there was originally a Jedi Knight named Anakin who fell to the dark side of the Force, he is also revealed to be the father of both Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia Organa, the two main protagonists of the original trilogy. After turning to the Dark Side of the Force, Vader is a ruthless henchman of Emperor Palpatine who secretly intends to overthrow Palpatine to establish himself as ruler of the Empire. Vader is ultimately redeemed in Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi, when he sacrifices himself to save his son, Luke.

Hayao Miyazaki

Hayao Miyazaki (宮崎 駿 Miyazaki Hayao, born January 5, 1941) is a Japanese manga artist and prominent film director and animator of many popular anime feature films. Through a career that has spanned nearly fifty years, Miyazaki has attained international acclaim as a maker of animated feature films and, along with Isao Takahata, co-founded Studio Ghibli, an animation studio and production company. The success of Miyazaki's films has invited comparisons with American animator Walt Disney, British animator Nick Park and Robert Zemeckis, and he has been named one of the most influential people by Time magazine.

Born in Bunkyō, Tokyo, Miyazaki began his animation career in 1961 when he joined Toei Animation. From there, Miyazaki worked as an in-between artist for Gulliver's Travels Beyond the Moon where he pitched his own ideas that eventually became the movie's ending. He continued to work in various roles in the animation industry over the decade until he was able to direct his first feature film Lupin III: The Castle of Cagliostro which was released in 1979. After the success of his next film, Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind, he co-founded Studio Ghibli where he continued to produce many feature films until his temporary retirement in 1997 following Princess Mononoke.
